Shopping for silk online often comes with a simple and completely reasonable question:

Is it really silk?

With so many synthetic fabrics designed to imitate the look and feel of silk, we understand that it can be difficult to tell from product photos alone. Many customers want reassurance before purchasing—and we believe you deserve it.

That is why we created the FEELITS Real Silk Promise: to reduce uncertainty, protect your trust and help you shop for silk with confidence.

Real Silk Where We Say Silk—Guaranteed

Whenever FEELITS describes a fabric or product section as silk, we mean genuine silk fiber—not polyester or another synthetic fabric made to imitate silk.

Our promise is simple:

Some FEELITS products may combine genuine silk with elastane, lace, mesh or other functional and decorative materials. This does not change our core promise: every fabric section we identify as silk is made with real silk fiber.

Questions About Your Silk?

1） For a purchased item, if we are unable to reasonably substantiate our claim that a fabric section represented as silk is genuine silk, we will honor our Twice-the-Price Real Silk Guarantee.

2）If qualified independent testing confirms that a fabric section represented by FEELITS as silk is actually synthetic imitation silk rather than genuine silk fabric, our Twice-the-Price Real Silk Guarantee will apply.

FEELITS may verify the laboratory, report and connection between the tested product and the original purchase before issuing compensation.

Twice-the-Price Real Silk Guarantee

If FEELITS cannot reasonably substantiate an eligible silk claim, or qualified independent testing confirms that a section represented as silk is synthetic imitation silk rather than genuine silk, FEELITS will:

• Refund the net product price paid for the affected item; and
• Provide an additional payment equal to that product price.

For example, if you paid $40 for the affected item, you would receive:

• A $40 refund
• An additional $40 guarantee payment
• $80 in total

The guarantee is calculated using the affected item’s net price after discounts. Original shipping charges, taxes, duties, promotional gift values and discount-code values are not doubled.

What Does the Promise Cover?

The Real Silk Promise applies to the fabric or product section specifically described by FEELITS as silk.

It does not mean that every part of every FEELITS product is made entirely from silk.

Depending on the product design, non-silk components may include:

• Elastane used for stretch
• Lace or mesh panels
• Elastic waistbands and leg openings
• Embroidery and decorative trim
• Sewing thread, straps and padding
• Hooks, zippers and other hardware

These components are not represented as silk unless FEELITS explicitly states otherwise.

For example, if a product has a silk body with lace trim, the promise applies to the body fabric identified as silk. It does not mean that the lace trim is also made from silk.

The presence of non-silk functional or decorative components does not mean that the fabric identified as silk is imitation silk.

Silk and Satin Are Not the Same Thing

Silk is a natural fiber. Satin describes a type of weave or surface finish and can be made from silk, polyester or other fibers.

Silk satin contains genuine silk fiber. Polyester satin is synthetic.

FEELITS will never describe polyester satin or another synthetic imitation fabric as real silk.

No At-Home Burn Test Is Required

FEELITS does not require, recommend or provide instructions for at-home burn testing.

Using an open flame may cause:

• Fire
• Burns or other injuries
• Smoke exposure
• Permanent damage to the product

Household burn tests also cannot conclusively identify the material of a finished or blended garment. Dyes, finishes, elastane, lace and other components may affect the result.

Please do not cut or burn your FEELITS product. Contact support@feelits.com if you would like material information, identification guidance or relevant supporting information.

If you have already conducted a household burn test, you may describe the result when contacting us. However, a household burn test, photograph, odor description or ash appearance alone does not qualify as professional testing under this guarantee.

Guarantee Eligibility

The Twice-the-Price Real Silk Guarantee:

• Applies to genuine FEELITS products purchased from feelits.com or an authorized FEELITS sales channel
• Requires an order number or other valid proof of purchase
• Applies only to fabric sections represented by FEELITS as silk
• Must be requested within 90 days of delivery
• Provides one guarantee resolution for each qualifying affected item
• Is calculated from the net product price actually paid after discounts

FEELITS may investigate duplicate claims, falsified reports, substituted samples or other suspected fraudulent activity.

A product’s ordinary return eligibility—including hygiene-related return restrictions—does not prevent a valid authenticity claim under the FEELITS Real Silk Promise.

This is an additional commercial guarantee and does not limit any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.
